Gem of Vermillion Huntersville

Found a gem in the Vermillion neighborhood of Huntersville, NC! This home was built by Mattamy Homes (Floorplan: The Violet) and it has a little over 3,000 heated square feet. This property is part of their “estate series.”

The kitchen made me want to take a cooking class so I could buy this house and not feel guilty for having such a nice kitchen that I never use. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, the works. This kitchen measures 12’x15’ with a larger breakfast area (upgrade) . . . and it had an oversized window above the sink.

This gathering room offers the option of a gas fireplace and window seat niche, but both are upgrades well worth the money.

This room feels much larger than its actual size because of the Juliette balcony connecting the loft to the gathering room.

Check out the flat panel TV! I would spend most of my time in this space.

The living room was nice, but no one ever spends time in this room so there’s no need for all the bells & whistles.

The dining room had a coffered ceiling and measures 14’x13’ – almost as large as the kitchen.

The master suite was fantastic! The whole house had oversized windows to let more light in, 9’ ceilings, and 8’ tall doorways to give the whole home a custom feeling.

The master bath has granite countertops, an elegant garden tub, a frameless glass shower enclosure, and my personal favorite – an elongated toilet.

The laundry room being upstairs will be very convenient for whomever snags this property.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 were just the right size and none of the closets seem cramped.

The secondary bathrooms had cultured marble countertops instead of granite, a tub/shower combination unit with fiberglass surround instead of tile, but they kept the elongated toilets – bless their hearts!
